The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense has announced that its flagship situational awareness platform, DELTA, has successfully passed an independent cybersecurity assessment. The review, which included the Vezha video analysis module and the Avengers AI platform, found no deviations from international security standards.

The two-month diagnostic was conducted by an unnamed international firm. Experts analyzed the system’s architecture and existing defense mechanisms against more than 160 specific information security requirements.

Strengthening Battlefield Intelligence

The audit focused heavily on the ecosystem's most critical components:

  • Vezha: A real-time video analysis module designed for battlefield monitoring. It facilitates voice communication and collaborative video decoding, which is vital for the coordinated use of unmanned systems.
  • Avengers: An artificial intelligence platform that automates the detection of enemy hardware. By identifying tanks and armored vehicles automatically, it reduces the time between target spotting and response.

According to the Ministry of Defense, the diagnostic confirmed that the system maintains its high level of protection even as it scales to accommodate more users and data. This stability is essential for maintaining the integrity of military operations and protecting the personal data of service members.

A Culture of Regular Verification

This is not a one-off achievement. The Ministry emphasizes that these security audits are a recurring part of the system's lifecycle. A previous assessment concluded in July 2024 also confirmed that the platform met all established benchmarks.

"For DELTA users, this means stable performance and reliable data protection," the Ministry stated. "In an environment where cyber resilience is a core component of combat effectiveness, these results are vital."

The Evolution of the DELTA Ecosystem

Beyond situational awareness, DELTA has grown into a comprehensive workspace for modern warfare. The ecosystem now supports:

  • Live video streaming
  • Advanced mission planning and intelligence tools
  • A mobile application designed for offline use to improve awareness in remote areas

The scale of the system's adoption is reflected in its Mission Control module, which manages drone operations. To date, the platform has processed over 150,000 digital reports on completed missions, signaling a significant shift toward data-driven command and control in the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
