SSenStone Showcases OT Security Technology to EU Cybersecurity Delegation
Authentication security specialist SSenStone announced that an EU delegation visited its headquarters to reaffirm the importance of operational technology (OT) security. The visit was part of an EU-Korea cybersecurity exploration initiative.
The EU delegation consisted of experts from ten European countries leading in cybersecurity education and expertise. Their visit to Korea aimed to strengthen cybersecurity education partnerships between Korea and the EU while exploring additional cooperation opportunities through the exchange of security implementation cases.
SSenStone received significant attention from the EU delegation for its presentation on the challenges and solutions in the rapidly evolving OT security landscape. The delegation showed particular interest in SSenStone’s OT security technology based on One-Time Authentication Code (OTAC), designed to enhance Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) authentication.
The company plans to use this visit as an opportunity to explore collaboration with institutions and businesses within the EU in the fields of industrial automation digital infrastructure protection and OT security.
“We are pleased and honored that SSenStone is the only security company officially visited by the delegation of EU cybersecurity experts,” said Changhun Yoo, CEO of SSenStone. “We hope this visit will develop beyond simple exchange into a cooperative relationship for building secure industrial infrastructure throughout the EU.”
This international engagement highlights the growing importance of operational technology security in industrial settings and demonstrates increasing cross-border collaboration to address emerging cybersecurity challenges in critical infrastructure environments.
